GEORGIAN TOWN HOUSE, ISLINGTON
The clients invited me to furnish their existing house for the rental market after moving in to a new family home nearby.
Avoiding using anything that smacked of ‘rental furniture’, sourcing was focused around the period of the house, the clients’ preferred aesthetic and items that offered visual interest as well as practicality.

INSPIRATION
MOOD
Relaxed, elegant, inviting, interesting
FOCUS
To source furniture, soft furnishings and decorative objects that reflected the clients’ paired back aesthetic while also injecting some colour, pattern and texture. Key to the success of the project was to eliminate any sense of the house looking like a traditional rental house (i.e. 50 shades of beige)
COLOUR PALETTE
Soft grey walls were complimented by pockets of faded brights, dark antique woods and natural cane textures
